The State of Florida seeks an interlocutory appeal challenging a nonfinal pretrial order of the circuit court granting a defense motion in limine. As a result of the order, the State was precluded from introducing as evidence the testimony of one of its key witnesses, Russell Byrd. See Fla. R.Crim.
