John McCormick was involved in a motor vehicle accident. When the police arrived on the scene, an officer asked McCormick to perform field sobriety tests. McCormick agreed to perform a horizontal gaze nystagmus test, and the results from all six segments of the test indicated that McCormick was under the influence of alcohol.
