This is an appeal from a judgment rendered on behalf of Emilia Medrano in a products liability case against Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories Company, et al. (Wyeth). Four women who used the Norplant System contraceptive alleged that they suffered injuries as a result of Wyeth's failure to adequately warn of the side effects associated with this product.
