In this interlocutory appeal, the court addresses whether an employee of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority ("WMATA") is absolutely immune from suit for negligent conduct arising during the course of making an arrest. As a result of his arrest, Hullon Griggs sued WMATA and Metro Transit Police Officer Douglas Haymans, as well as the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, alleging in part that Officer Haymans negligently failed...
