Plaintiff-appellant Gary Allen Patterson (Patterson) appeals the district court's dismissal of his motion to vacate his sentence pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2255 as time-barred. In this case, we decide whether the limitations provision in § 2255 is subject to equitable tolling.
