¶ 1 The defendants, Dillard Department Stores, Inc. and Rickey Hipp, appeal from the jury verdict and resulting judgment in favor of Billy Mitchell on his claims arising from his detention at a Dillard's store by Rickey Hipp, an off-duty Phoenix police officer acting as a Dillard's security guard.
