On August 23, 1991, Rhonda Labiche sustained a cardiorespiratory arrest and has remained in a coma since that date. She was originally hospitalized at Slidell Memorial Hospital, but on December 30, 1991, she was transferred to Montelepre Long Term Care Facility.
