Defendant, Griffin Perkins, was convicted of two counts of distribution of cocaine in violation of La. R.S. 40:967 A. Pursuant to a multiple bill, defendant was found to be a third felony offender and he was sentenced to life imprisonment without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence. Defendant has appealed, and had presented three assignments of error for our consideration. We find merit to defendant's first allegation...
