Paula Crean sued Michelin North America, Inc., for workers' compensation benefits for on-the-job injuries. Constantly lifting and fixing defective tires while working for Michelin, Crean developed bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome and bilateral ulnar nerve neuropathy in her hands and wrists.
