¶ 1. On December 8, 1993, Tim F. Wilson brought suit in the Lafayette County Chancery Court against his former law partners, T.H. Freeland, III, and T.H. Freeland, IV, for sums he claimed the partnership owed him upon his departure from the firm. On May 28, 1997, after the case had been inactive for approximately eighteen months, Lafayette County Chancellor Anthony T. Farese entered an order dismissing the case without prejudice...
