¶ 1 Defendant appeals from convictions of one count of second degree felony child abuse, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-5-109(2)(a) (1999),2 and two counts of class A misdemeanor child abuse, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-5-109(3)(a) (1999).
