Charles D. Pham originally raised seven issues in this direct appeal from his conviction for aggravated assault We reverse and remand for a new trial.

We need to address only five of Pham's issues to give the district court adequate guidance on remand. Those five ask: (1) Did the district court err in allowing testimony on gang membership to be introduced at trial? (2) Did the district court err in allowing the prosecution to question witnesses...
