Hector Manso pleaded guilty to certain drug-related offenses and was sentenced to one year imprisonment to be followed by five years special parole. When Manso violated the terms of his special parole, the Parole Commission revoked it and sent him back to prison for a further two months. He was then re-released on special parole.
