Sergeant William H. Silk brought this action against the City of Chicago ("the City") and two of its police officers. Sergeant Silk alleged that they violated the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 by discriminating against him and by subjecting him to a hostile work environment because of his disability, sleep apnea.
