The State of Louisiana appeals the ruling of the trial court amending and reducing the sentence of the defendant after he served a portion of that sentence. Finding the issue to be moot, we affirm.

Kendall Copeland was charged by bill of information with possession of phencyclidine, a violation of La. R.S. 40:966(C).1 He withdrew his earlier plea and entered a plea of guilty as charged on June 16, 1994. He was sentenced...
