Defendants Myrick White and Russell W. Atkins appeal their convictions and 10-year hard labor sentences for distribution of cocaine. White and Atkins urge that their convictions were based upon insufficient evidence, particularly inadequate identifications. They allege that their trial counsel did not provide effective assistance in their defense. Defendants also maintain that they were penalized for going to trial and that their sentences were excessive...
