In this appeal from the district court's grant of the Government's motion to dismiss, we confront an unseemly subject. Notwithstanding the need for good order and discipline in the country's armed forces, and strict military rules designed to prevent such an occurrence, an enlisted petty officer in the United States Navy seduced a young recruit in Lafayette, Louisiana.
