Harvey Katzowitz ("Katzowitz" or the "plaintiff") initiated this lawsuit against the defendant, the Long Island Rail Road ("LIRR"r the "defendant"), after he allegedly fell while exiting a train at the station located in Inwood, New York (the "Inwood Station"), resulting in a fracture of a bone in his leg.
