Defendant, Shannon Shine, was charged with attempted first degree murder, in violation of La. R.S. 14:27 and 14:30(A)(1), and armed robbery, in violation of La. R.S. 14:64. Pursuant to a plea agreement with the State, Defendant pled guilty to the charge of armed robbery in exchange for the State's agreement to dismiss the charge of attempted first degree murder. The trial court sentenced Defendant to serve 89 years at hard labor without benefit of parole...
