Defendant-Appellant Marcus Smith pled guilty to using and carrying a handgun while committing a robbery of Credit Union Services Center ("Credit Union"), in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1). On February 23, 1998, the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma sentenced him to five years' imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release. The district court also ordered Smith to pay $9,364 in restitution...
