CAPPY, Justice.

This is an appeal from the dismissal of Ernest Porter's ("Appellant") petition filed pursuant to the Post Conviction Relief Act (PCRA), 42 Pa.C.S. § 9541 et seq. For the reasons that follow, we affirm.
