On April 23, 1997, the appellant, Martrice Brown, was charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine. At her arraignment on May 5, 1997, she pled not guilty to both counts. Her motion to suppress the identification was heard and denied on July 9, 1997. On September 4, 1997,, at the conclusion of a two-day trial, a twelve-person jury found her guilty as charged on both counts. The court sentenced her on November 20, 1997 on each count to five years...
