Beal Bank, SSB, a Texas institution, holds second mortgages on two New Hampshire properties owned by Lionel and Maureen Bolduc. Following the Bolducs' default, Beal Bank commenced foreclosure proceedings against the properties. At the Bolducs' behest, the district court granted a preliminary injunction against Beal Bank barring foreclosure based on an alleged violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity...
