Plaintiff, Florence Dimeo, appeals from an order of the circuit court of Cook County dismissing her complaint for damages against defendant, Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), for failing to file a proper notice of injury as required by section 41 of the Metropolitan Transit Authority Act. 70 ILCS 3605/41 (West 1996).
