Plaintiff Ruth Farkas ("Ruth") originally brought this claim against defendant Arlene Farkas ("Arlene"), Ruth's estranged daughter-in-law, for conversion of a number of pieces of art which had resided for many years in the home of Arlene and Bruce, Ruth's son.
