Thiet Van Phan was tried before a jury in the Circuit Court of Arlington County and convicted of the first-degree murder of Long Hung Nguyen, the malicious wounding of Nghia H. Bui, and two counts of the use of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He was sentenced in accordance with the jury's verdicts to 75 years imprisonment for the murder conviction, 15 years imprisonment for the malicious wounding conviction, and a total of eight years...
