Margaret Stokes, as guardian of Martha Bearden, sued Edna Christine Montgomery and Matthew Clark Cantrell for injuries Bearden sustained in an automobile collision.1 According to the complaint, Montgomery's automobile negligently collided with Cantrell's truck, causing Cantrell in turn to strike Bearden's automobile. The complaint alleges that Cantrell also was negligent and thereby caused or contributed to Bearden's injuries...
