The plaintiffs, all residents or former residents of Southern Oaks subdivision in Shreveport, Louisiana, filed suit to recover damages sustained in a 1979 flood. The plaintiffs now appeal, seeking both an increase in their mental anguish awards and an award of attorney fees and challenging the rejection of their claims against certain defendants.
