Respondent Christy L. Moundson, f/k/a Christy L. Schmitz (Moundson), brought this declaratory judgment action against respondents Lucille I. Bitzan and Patrick J. Bitzan (the Bitzans) and against appellant Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Company (Grinnell), the Bitzans' underinsured motorist (UIM) carrier.
