Defendant, Alex Hennis, was charged by bill of information with aggravated burglary, a violation of La.R.S. 14:60. Defendant pled not guilty; and, after trial by jury, was found guilty as charged. Thereafter, defendant was charged, adjudged, and sentenced as a second felony habitual offender to imprisonment at hard labor for a term of forty years, running concurrently with defendant's sentence for his prior felony conviction for aggravated assault in Mississippi...
