OPINION

TOM GRAY, Justice.

In the middle of the night, in Cranfills Gap, Justin Wayne Carlock and a juvenile entered a home in search of items to steal and sell so they could buy drugs. The resident, a 95 year old man, was home. The assailants alternated holding the victim while the other searched the home. On May 20, 1998, Carlock was convicted by a jury of burglary of a habitation, a first degree felony, and sentenced to twenty years in prison...
