After a jury trial, the defendant, Jose Delvalle, was convicted of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a (a)1 and conspiracy to commit murder in violation of General Statutes §§ 53a-54a (a) and 53a-48.2 The trial court rendered judgment in accordance with the jury verdict,3
