A jury convicted defendant Bobby Eugene Davis (Davis) of committing a lewd act upon a child under the age of 14 (Pen.Code, § 288, subd. (a)). The trial court found true the allegation that Davis had two prior convictions of Penal Code section 288, subdivisions (a) and (b).
