KOLKEY, J.

In this appeal, defendant contends (1) that the trial court should have allowed the jury to determine whether his prior robbery conviction was a "serious felony" for purposes of sentencing under the three-strikes law; and (2) that the court committed prejudicial error in instructing the jury on reasonable doubt under the revised version of CALJIC No. 2.90.
