Paul W. Schaff was tried by a jury and found guilty of the criminal and aggravated criminal sexual assault of a 7-year old boy. See 720 ILCS 5/12-13(a)(2); 5/12-14(b)(1). On September 14, 1990, he was sentenced to ten years of imprisonment.
