Alcee LeBlanc pled guilty in 1994 to possession of stolen property, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2315. The district court sentenced him to twelve months of incarceration, followed by three years of supervised release. LeBlanc served his prison term, and had successfully completed two years and five months of the supervision period when he was arrested and charged with being a felon in possession of a weapon.
