¶ 1 Kurt Bonnewell, Lauralu Harkins, Lee P. Hulsey, and Walter John Randall ("Defendants") were convicted of setting a leghold trap on public land in violation of Arizona Revised Statutes Annotated ("A.R.S.") section 17-301(D)(1),1 a class two misdemeanor.
