After breaking into the home where his estranged wife Lesia was living with her parents and her sister Soynda, Harry Gosier slew Soynda, had sexual relations with her corpse, and lay in wait for Lesia. On arriving she was raped in the presence of their 3½-year-old daughter India, then bound and gagged until Lesia's mother Mae Halcrombe came home. India begged Gosier not to kill her grandmother...
