Dewey Jones tossed a Molotov cocktail into his cousin's living room; fire severely damaged the home. A jury convicted Jones of arson, 18 U.S.C. § 844(i), making an illegal destructive device (the firebomb), 26 U.S.C. § 5861(f), and using a destructive device during and in relation to a crime of violence (the arson), 18 U.S.C. § 924(c).
