Plaintiff Mann Contractors, Inc., brought this action to recover monies allegedly owed by reason of an alleged contract with defendant Flair with Goldsmith Consultants—II to construct improvements upon property owned by defendant in Greensboro, N.C. In its amended complaint, plaintiff alleged that it had fully performed its obligations under the contract and that it was owed a balance of at least $80,000 for the work. Defendant
