Morgan Guaranty Trust Company of New York has brought this action to collect an alleged deficiency on a July 31, 1996 Demand Note issued by defendants Stanford W. Crane, Jr. and Melissa Crane. The Cranes counterclaim for damages resulting from, among other things, Morgan's alleged improper liquidation of stock pledged as collateral pursuant to the note.
