At 1:20 a.m. on May 25, 1992, James Howard, Jr., a prisoner of the City of Columbus, Muscogee County, died of diabetic ketoacidosis at Columbus Medical Center. Conswella L. Howard, his minor daughter, by and through her natural and legal guardian, Stephanie Corbin, brought a wrongful death action, and Stephanie Corbin, as temporary administratrix of the estate of James Howard, Jr., brought a personal injury...
