This is a wrongful death case brought by the survivors of Phillip D. Stutzman and James Pulaski, two Marines who were killed in a 1992 helicopter crash. The crash was caused by a failed bearing. The appellees sued several defendants, but the appellants, Ingersoll-Rand and its subsidiary The Torrington Company (collectively, Ingersoll), were held to be jointly and severally liable for the entire judgment.
