James Carty ["Carty" or "appellant"] appeals the orders of the Territorial Court granting summary judgment in favor of Hess Oil Virgin Islands Corporation ["HOVIC" or "appellee"] and denying his motion for reconsideration. Because Carty's motion for reconsideration tolled the time for appealing the trial court's order dismissing his case, his appeal of the dismissal was timely.
