INTRODUCTION

This case arises out of a one-vehicle automobile accident in which the driver, Angela Lamonds, was ejected through the rear window of her 1988 Chevy Spectrum. Ms. Lamonds was severely injured in the accident and suffered permanent brain damage. The plaintiff filed a motion for judgment in the Circuit Court for the County of Louisa, Virginia alleging negligent and defective design...
