We are again presented with a conundrum involving uninsured motorist coverage. Our court has yet to rule on the following issue: When, if ever, is prejudgment interest properly awarded on uninsured motorist claims?

On March 22, 1993, plaintiff-appellant Angie Lynn Bowman was injured in a car crash caused by Lawrence Engel, an uninsured motorist. In March 1995, Bowman and her husband filed suit against defendant-appellee Progressive Casualty...
