The plaintiffs, Richard and Donna Melillo, own a home in East Haven that is located several hundred feet north of Tweed-New Haven Airport (Tweed). They initiated this action against the defendant, the city of New Haven, which owns and operates Tweed, alleging that certain commercial jet flights into and out of Tweed substantially interfered with the use and enjoyment of their property...
