This case arises from the estate of Rex L. McGarr, who died testate on January 20, 1986. Appellants1 sought an inventory, accounting, and distribution of McGarr's estate. Appellee Ruben Peña answered by asserting that the appellants lacked standing because of releases they had signed, and also that limitations and laches blocked their action.
