BACKGROUND

In December, 1992, Defendant Munholland United Methodist Church ("the Church") hired Plaintiff Ms. Starkman, who served as Choirmaster and Director of Music. Ms. Starkman's supervisor at the Church was the Reverend Tommy N. Evans.
