MEMORANDUM OPINION

PAYNE, District Judge.

The Petitioner, Tommy D. Strickler, was convicted by a jury of the capital murder of Leann Whitlock, robbery and abduction. He was sentenced to death on the capital murder conviction and to life sentences on the convictions of robbery and abduction. His convictions and sentences were affirmed on direct appeal by the Supreme Court of Virginia and a petition for a writ of certiorari was denied by the Supreme Court...
